Curriculum Vitae

Johannes Westermeyer is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Department of Economic and Social Geography at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne. He works on the DFG funded project Multinational companies and local knowledge base - an evolutionary perspective: Regional variants of initial vocational education and training activities in Germany and teaches bachelor’s as well as master’s courses. Johannes Westermeyer received his M.Sc. in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security after attending a joint Master’s programme by the Institute for Environment and Human Security of the United-Nations-University (UNU-EHS) and the Department of Geography of the University of Bonn. He also received his B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Bonn and has furthermore, funded by the EU-Erasmus-Programme, studied at the Department of Geography of the University College London (UCL).
